Gas Oil

Fuel Oil
Fuel oil is derived as the residue from crude oil distillation. Approximately 10% of fuel oil production is utilized to power large ships, with another 15% dedicated to heating purposes. The remaining portion is employed by refineries as feedstock for further processing.

Furnace Oil primarily fuels furnaces used for heating or pre-heating large quantities of metal. Storage options for Furnace Oil include both vertical and horizontal tanks, above ground or, in some instances, underground, adhering to regulatory specifications set by organizations like CCOE in India.

Base oils find application in the production of various products, including lubricating greases, motor oil, and metal processing fluids. The suitability of a crude oil for base oil production is determined by the concentration of base oil molecules and their ease of extraction.
